Mr. Eliasik is an experienced trial lawyer who has negotiated large settlements and tried many cases to verdict.  Before devoting himself exclusively to representing the injured, Mr. Eliasik performed years of trial work on behalf of one of the largest automobile insurance companies, gaining insider experience on how “the other side” operates.  Since leaving the defense side of the bar, Mr. Eliasik has concentrated on work-related injuries, slip and fall accidents and automobile accidents.  Highlights of recently resolved cases include:

  • $175,000 for a postal worker who was unable to continue driving a postal delivery truck after being rear-ended by a semi-truck on the interstate, causing permanent low back, soft tissue damage
  • $270,000 for a woman who suffered an injury to her jaw after hitting her face on the seat in front of her in a rear-end accident involving a charter bus
  • $68,000 for a 58 year-old woman who slipped and fell on water in a grocery store, injuring her ankle
  • $35,000 for a 28 year old man who tripped on pieces of metal sticking out of the ground while crossing through a parking lot at night, injuring his leg.

Mr. Eliasik was born and raised in Chicago.  He lives on the north side with his wife and son.
